How Brickote Works

  1. A “scratch coat” is adhered after a galvanized metal lathe is installed.
  2. The second coat applied is called a “mortar joint coat.”
  3. The “finish color coat” is the final layer and is textured. As this coat settles, we carve out lines to reveal the join coat beneath.
  4. Once the 3-step process is completed, we can continue to customize the color of the top coat for a more authentic-looking brick.
